This Star Wars prequel film tells the story of how the plans were stolen for the death star in the original Star Wars film. As much as I enjoyed The Force Awakens I couldn’t help but feel it was just rinse and repeat from the original film. This story actually looks like a unique story within the Star Wars universe! Yay for innovation!!! In all seriousness this trailer does look really good. It’s too early to tell if this will be a good movie but what is here is the star Wars universe looking familiar as it should but the people, the story, and the tone feeling new and different.
The film is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones. Look for it on December 16th of this year! It seems crazy that we are already getting a new Star Wars movie.
