It appears we are zeroing in on a solid date for the final Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer and presale of tickets. Multiple sources including insiders close to the project and various theater chains are reporting the date to be Monday October 19th. The final trailer for the film is said to contain all new footage from the film. The theatrical premiere for the trailer will come in November attached to Spectre. AMC theater managers are reporting to various sites, including theforce.net that the 19th is indeed presale day and Cinemark theaters accidentally posted a Star Wars graphic announcing the presale only to immediately pull the graphic from the internet. There still has been no official comment on this date. Apparently theaters have been given marching orders to have ticketing information submitted to online sellers (Fandango) by Friday the 16th so it seems to be a sure bet that the 19th will be the day.
