Plants vs. Zombies players that took the Sony route into next generation consoles just had the newest game in the franchise, Garden Warfare, shamble onto their Playstation 4 earlier this week. Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is a family friendly third-person shooter that puts a variety of flora protecting their gardens against wacky undead hordes. Fans of the genre will find traditional shooter modes, including team deathmatch, kill confirmed, and domination, all with a humorous Plants vs. Zombies twist.
Soon, Diamond Select Toys will let players take their struggle for garden victory from the small screen to the real world with a line of action figures and Minimates. Action figures will be released in two pack “bloom and doom” sets, each featuring one plant and one zombie ready for battle.. The 5” figures are available in the following sets at Toys “R” Us, comic and specialty stores:
– Gatling Pea with Scientist Zombie
– Camo Cactus with Foot Soldier Zombie
– Chomper with Engineer Zombie
– Shadow Flower with All-Star Zombie
If you like your combat on a smaller scale, you can find two different assortments of Minimates in early September. Toys “R” Us will carry a set featuring Foot Soldier Zombie, Scientist Zombie, Chomper, Sunflower, and two Pea Shooters. Visit your local comic or speciality story to obtain the second set with Engineer Zombie, All-Star Zombie, Cactus, Sunflower, and two Pea Shooters.
