Dragon Con is the south’s largest fan event, and by fan event we mean FAN event. Dragon Con isn’t a trade show like other large cons it’s an event run by fans for fans. Artists and celebrities aren’t at Dragon Con to drop big news bombs; they’re there to interact with the fans of their work via panels and other special events within the convention. The convention brings in well over 50,000 attendees to downtown Atlanta and it even features a parade with over 10,000 watchers.
