We’re embarking on a three day weekend so that means prime time for watching movies for us hardcore fans.  What?!?  Fireworks you say?  Nah, we’re all about a dark air conditioned theater with digital sound and video.

Wall-E is still going strong and highly recommended, Wanted is surprisingly fun, and The Incredible Hulk is still smashing theaters.  All of these films are great choices for the weekend.  Hancock, the new Will Smith summer vehicle, opens wide this weekend to some really bad buzz.  The early word is that the movie is pretty terrible.  Other choices in smaller theaters include The Animation Show, a touring series of short animated films from some of the best animators in the business and also in smaler venues is Mongul a Braveheart style epic telling of the story of Genghis Khan.

We’re heading out today for our own celebrations so look for a new podcast and more reviews on Monday.  Today we do have something interesting for you to take a look at though.  Suzie has a full review of ‘Til Death Do Us Part, a television series starring John Waters.  Haven’t heard of it?  Neither had I until this boxset landed in our office.  Scroll on down and check out her full review.

By the way, don’t forget to enter our Contests!  You can hit the Contests link under the Categories list to the right but today we’ve been nice enough to provide you links to the two current contests right here!
